Dorothea Donn-Byrne

Born in Liverpool, Dorothea Donn-Byrne (also known as Dolly Byrne) was the wife of the Irish novelist Donn Byrne, author of 'Messr. Marco Polo'. As well as the Dublin premiere listed here, she had a number of plays produced in London and New York and her romantic comedy 'Enter Madame', premiered on Broadway in 1920, was subsequently made into a succesful film starring Cary Grant.
