Eileen Gibbons

Eileen Gibbons is from Galway. She first started acting in UCG Dramsoc. She has worked with many local companies including Punchbag Theatre Company, Macnas, Druid and The Flying Pigs Comedy Troupe. She is co-funder of Electric Bridget. She has co-written and performed in or directed three of their shows. She has had work published in Writing in The West and New Irish Writing among other publications. In 1998 she was nominated for a Hennessy Award for Poetry.
