Baile | Eolas | Déan Teagmháil Linn
Gary Duggan
New York City, Summer 1999.
Sometimes finding the perfect piece of blueberry pie is more important than seeing the Statue of Liberty. A hot summer in the city is created through a series of interweaving monologues and video projections. Vibrant tales of food, drink, sex and drugs are told from a distinctly Irish perspective. A scattered group of runaways, student backpackers and decadent young professionals cross paths on their separate quests for love, accommodation or just plain adventure. This is a play about how New York changes you forever.
